More than 15 years ago, my professional graphic designer / Illustrator carreer took off when i was hired by a Portuguese videogame company to develop some concepts for the first ever Portuguese PC Videogame that was going into production at the time. Download game.
I ended up becoming the responsable for not only those but for the entire visual look, atmosphere and animations for the game in the three subsequent years i worked with a team of programmers to develop our project. The game was released in Portugal and Spain back in late 1995 to great reviews all over but unfortunely due to some internal portuguese politics ended up not being released in england by Psygnosis wich was going to licence the game.
This pic now, is a new illustration. The second Gamby made in more than 15 years and i did this now because the whole thing is becoming a children´s book soon. View the final versions here.
