The Neverending Story, first movie had a profound influence in my art today. I saw that film when i was 14 and from that moment i knew i wanted to create landscapes like the "Ivory Tower" fantasy landscape scenery that appears in that movie.
Because of thar i´ve also read the original novel dozens of times over the years and i´ve always wanted to create a comics version of it.
The movie sequels destroyed the book and since then i´ve been wanting to show people who don´t usualy read novels how the real The Neverending Story, story is.
So this sketch you see here, is my first atempt to design something around that comics concept as i´m going to start adapting that novel soon, just for fun. Stay tuned. ;)
